About Emma Lowe
Emma Lowe studied piano at the Guildhall School of Music and then accompaniment as a post graduate at the Royal Academy of Music.
She is a qualified school teacher and as well as having been music coordinator in Primary schools, has taught music up to 'A' level, directed school choirs and orchestras, and put on musical shows. Emma has always enjoyed teaching piano to children and adults. Once she had completed the Da Capo, Kodaly based training in London, she started to integrate this into all her music teaching, whether it be to individual piano students or groups of young children.
Emma has played for ballet classes, opera groups, instrumentalists and solo singers in London and on the continent. She has also enjoyed taking part in musical theatre covering a wide range of styles from popular to classical.
She currently teaches musicianship classes at Music Box Oxford and gives piano lessons at home and at the Dragon School. She continues to play and perform with instrumentalists and singers as time allows.
